Filipino Martial Arts

The Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) program is the program for adults which ever level you are.

At Elemental5 we teach 2 systems:

  • Dagooc Arnis System
  • Pekiti-Tirsia Kali (under PTTA)

Depending on the class, the focus will be on one system or the other but overall, FMA cover the following topics :

  • Solo & Doble Baston (Single & Double Sticks)

  • Offensive & Defensive Empty Hands Techniques

  • Daga (Knife Techniques)
  • Espada y Daga (Sword & Knife)

  • Joint Locks, Manipulation and Controls
  • Empty Hands vs Weapons
  • Improvised Weapons

Martial Arts For Kids


FMA for children

We offer a program for your beloved ones. They will start their journey in  Filipino Martial Arts through exercises and games designed for their age.

The kids program is divided into 2 groups of age :

  • 4-7 years old
  • 8-12 years old

What they will get from the FMA for Kids program :

  • Gain self-confidence

  • Increase Coordination and Awareness
  • Helps Balance The Mind

Schedule :

4-7 y/o : Monday – 3:30pm – 4:15pm

8-12 y/o : Saturday – 9:30pm – 10:15pm

Stick Fighting

Which ever systems, sparring allows you to test and adjust the techniques learnt in a more realistic context.

This class is focused on applying your footworks and striking pattern and finding your fighting style that is the reason why it is requested to get your first rank (yellow belt or yakan 1) before accessing it.

Of course, we won’t ask you to swing randomly your stick but we will bring you step by step through progressive exercises :

  • Targeting Games

  • Defensive Games

  • Striking Drills

  • Sparring Progression
